Founder Information

For more than 30 years, I have had the privilege of serving leaders, organizations, and communities as they navigated growth, organizational transformation, strategic planning, and complex leadership challenges. Throughout my career, I have learned that the strongest organizations are not built by strategy alone, but by leaders whose character, values, and purpose guide every decision.
While my professional experience has shaped my expertise, my greatest lessons were learned while balancing executive leadership, motherhood, and caregiving. These seasons transformed my understanding of leadership, and I discovered that sustainable leadership isn’t about carrying every responsibility or saying yes to every opportunity. It’s about having the wisdom to discern what matters most, the courage to make difficult decisions, and the perseverance to lead with clarity, integrity, and purpose, even when under pressure.
Ragonis Anderson Advisory was born from those lessons, as I wanted to create a firm that walks alongside leaders as they strengthen organizations, cultivate healthy cultures, and build legacies that extend far beyond their own success.
I believe leadership is an act of stewardship. Our responsibility is not simply to build something successful today, but to invest in people, organizations, and communities that will flourish long after our season of leadership has ended.
Let’s plant trees whose shade we may never sit under and invest in people, organizations, and communities that will flourish for generations to come.

Wende Ragonis Anderson brings more than 30 years of experience spanning corporate consulting, executive leadership, local government, economic and community development, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit governance.
Her career began with Accenture, where she gained experience in operations, strategic sourcing, technology implementation, and organizational change. She later brought that experience into leadership roles across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, leading teams, organizations, and complex initiatives through periods of growth, transition, and uncertainty.

Throughout her career, Wende has been known as a trusted connector bringing together stakeholders across sectors to move ideas into action. She has a unique ability to see both the big picture and the practical steps required to align people, resources, and strategy. Her work spans leadership advisory, economic and community development, ecosystem connection, and workforce / industry alignment with an emphasis on legacy.
Her early career foundation at Accenture provided her with deep experience in operations, strategic sourcing, and large-scale systems implementation, equipping her with the discipline that continues to guide her work today.
In addition to her advisory work, Wende is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Bear & Dog Real Estate Holdings, a company focused on restoring properties in small-town communities. This work reflects her belief that restoration is not just physical, it is spiritual and relational. What is often overlooked can be renewed with vision, care, and perseverance.
Most recently, Wende has served in executive and senior leadership roles in municipal government, manufacturing, as the CEO of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and in economic development for the City of College Station. Her work has included strategic planning, organizational transformation, economic and community development, industry and workforce alignment, public-private collaboration, and the development of partnerships that bring diverse stakeholders together around a shared vision.

Across each of these roles, Wende has developed a reputation as a trusted connector and strategic advisor who can see both the big picture and the practical steps required to move an organization forward. She understands the realities leaders face because she has experienced them herself. From leading through organizational change and financial pressure to navigating competing priorities, complex stakeholders, and difficult decisions.
Wende holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and continues to serve organizations and communities through nonprofit board leadership and initiatives supporting healthcare, economic development, and community impact.
